I've made most of my own blades, but also bought one from OrienM of Old School Tools. It is an outstanding general purpose blade for most hardwoods. Wherever you purchase from, I highly recommend buying a blade only and making a handle to custom suit your hand. Here's how mine turned out. Comfort is everything for this tool otherwise it will literally be a pain to use. Other folks may not make a handle suitable for your own grip. Good luck.Murathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13482734358888755004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8157484949428480187.post-9803403447847370512012-08-12T17:01:33.178-04:002012-08-12T17:01:33.178-04:00Great article....Great article....Mikehttp://reflectionsoutdoors.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8157484949428480187.post-52703514383235739482012-08-12T01:59:20.468-04:002012-08-12T01:59:20.468-04:00Hi Murat,

I'm going to learn to make my own eventually, but first because of time it'd be easier to buy one. I'm looking at Moose River Handcrafts to buy one.Jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02290675034965974011noreply@blogger.com
