Be sure to share some pics.<br /><br />My understanding of how stuff was kept dry with this system is that part of the roll included a smaller oiled groundcloth before packing up everything with the tarp/tent. I'm in the middle of making a crude 10x10 tarp out of a painter's dropcloth and for now plan to use a small 6x8 poly tarp as my groundsheet & waterproofing layer. Not fully traditional but making a proper oilcloth canvas groundsheet will have to wait until there's more "project time".<br /><br />By the way, I added you to my page of other "Unique Paddlemakers" whose paddles I've posted on the site.
