This birch bark canoe and paddle was made at the Waswagoning Ojibwe Village In Lac du Flambeau Wis. The paddle was carved with a crooked knife and axe out of white birch.
I ran a workshop there in 2006 with 6 students. It took 16 days to build this canoe from scratch. I have sever photos of the project if your interested. Ferdy Goode beaverbarkcanoes49@gmail.com
